Liriola Pitti is a leader with a strategic vision focus on results. With multifunctional experience at the highest levels of private and government companies, throughout her career, she has advised leading organizations and companies in Panama. Liriola joined PPF Communications & Consulting Inc. in 2020 as partner and has an executive role at the company since then.
Former General Director of the Panama International Tourism Promotion Fund (PROMTUR PANAMA) up to march 2020, she was responsible for PROMTUR´s enactment. Overviewed planning, designing and executing marketing strategies and two International Promotion Campaigns. She leaded agreements negotiations with national and international airlines, wholesalers and tour operators, among other international marketing and promotion agreements to highlight Panama as a tourism destination, therefore increasing the affluence of tourists, job promotion and income for Panama.
Liriola served as Vice President for Corporate and Commercial Services at City of Knowledge Foundation during six years, responsible for planning, executing and evaluating marketing strategy, customer service and processes improvement.
Liriola has always fostered a corporate culture based on innovation, teamwork and integrity; at the City of Knowledge Foundation she has being a leader for planning, development and execution of international winning programs as the H2O Challenge & Global Demo Day and International Fintech Challenge.
As a Consultant for The World Bank, she was responsible for planning and reviewing the financing of specific infrastructure projects, identification of key areas for development from 2012 to 2014, including public and private sectors to be executed by the Government of Panama.
Earlier in her career and during five years, she performed as National Director and General Manager for Panama Tourism Bureau IPAT (Autoridad de Turismo de Panama) leading a diverse team of over 275 professionals. Liriola Pitti was responsible of public policies in Tourism, its planning, management, marketing and positioning of the country in the global market.
She was chief liaison and spokeswoman for all national and international negotiations related to new flights commercial and charters. Together with her team, negotiated and promoted international events to position Panama as a Tourist destination; and was involved in a wide range of foreign and domestic policy issues.
Liriola earned her Master’s degree in Coaching and Personal Leadership at the University of Barcelona, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Centenary University, N.J., U.S.A.
Liriola lives happily in Panama City. She grew up among flowers and horses in the magnificent province of Chiriqui, where she returns to celebrate with her family every summer.
She is passionate about advancing women in business and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Panamanian Red Cross. She has served on the Board of Trustees for the Amador Foundation and the Panama Viejo Historical Monument Foundation.
